THIS IS US
Kent and Beverly Mattox are founders of Word Alive International Outreach, an Apostolic Center for Freedom that was founded in December 2000. This interdenominational outreach center quickly grew into a rich, culturally diverse local church with several thousand people in regular attendance and active participation and international outreach with an emphasis on preaching, teaching, recovery and reaching out to feed nations of the world.
Kent and Beverly are passionate and have a great desire to see every individual find the FREEDOM to fulfill their purpose and destiny within the Kingdom. That passion, combined with their commitment to see people succeed in every area of life, fuels the vision of Word Alive International Outreach. Their enthusiasm, genuine love for people and effective teaching has fueled a ministry which spans nearly 30 years and embraces four continents with the message of FREEDOM: Finding our identity, Realigning with Kingdom Culture, Engaging in spiritual community, Exploring our gifts and callings, Demonstrating God’s gifts, Opening our hearts to the poor, Making Jesus famous.
Through Project 58, Kent and Beverly are committed to providing food and clean water to those in the world without the means of securing those much needed resources for themselves. Their apostolic vision starts with our own local community and spans to other communities across the globe. Their inspiration for this purpose comes from John 6:1-14 and Isaiah 58. Word Alive International Outreach has distributed millions of pounds of food and supplies to our local community and other nations around the world. This is accomplished through partnering with Word Alive International Outreach to Pray, Fast, and Give.

What We Believe
We believe everything revolving around Christ is a gift. He came to give life and life more abundantly. Jesus came as a gift to the world. Knowing life is a gift means every person on earth is valuable and important to God.Therefore, we must value this precious gift that has been given to us because we know life was given by God. We believe Jesus’ passion on the cross was a gift because He chose to suffer to demonstrate and reconcile us to God’s extravagant love for humanity. John 3:16
The Bible is a gift as it is God’s inspiration to men to show His spiritual movement throughout history. John 6:27
We believe Holy Spirit is a gift from God and is a fulfillment of the promise to testify of Jesus Christ and empower us to live the life of Christ in the earth. John 14:26Your Next Step
